Put Options Clear Favourite – US 10-year Notes Gingerly Before U.K Referendum

After the release of some “Bremain” opinion polls over the past weekend in the UK, investors have shown less interest towards safe-haven assets, which brought about a selloff in government bonds, including the US 10-year T-Note. In the last two sessions, the bond has been moving in a narrow range since the markets are in a wait-and-see mode ahead of the outcome of Britain’s EU referendum. On the daily chart, the price is moving downwards after hitting the resistance at 132.63. The downtrend is being confirmed as the distance between SMA7 and SMA14 is widening.
